As a traveling artist, Sam Keller has spent most of her professional art career painting landscape scenes that capture the culture, energy, and respect for the environment that she is in. From local surf breaks to captivating mountain peaks, Sam enjoys adding her style to iconic places that other adventurers, outdoorsmen&women, wanderers, renegades, and sunset-chasers will recognize and appreciate.
Sam moved from the east coast to South Lake Tahoe in 2018 and spent multiple seasons here teaching at Lake Tahoe Paint and Sip Studio, doing live paintings at local restaurants, and spending time outside hiking, climbing, and snowboarding to gain inspiration from Lake Tahoe's unwavering natural beauty. Backpacking into the wilderness with a canvas and an easel in her pack, collecting driftwood or scrap wood slices to transform into art pieces, and on-site painting are some of her favorites past times.
Currently traveling in Central America, Sam can be found spreading her art throughout different communities while living out of a backpack with a roll of blank canvas strapped to the back.
