Jason is a self-taught artist from Orange County, CA. In his early twenties Jason developed a deep passion for photography. This love for photography lead Jason to Lake Tahoe in 1999. Jason spent years photographing Tahoe using medium and large format cameras. As the digital era of photography was emerging Jason was quick to embrace the new technology and was a pioneer of digital high dynamic range photography. In 2011 at an outdoor art festival, Jason stumbled onto a steampunk jewelry maker and was so inspired that he put down his camera and picked up a saw. This was the beginning of a complete transformation. Jason's main focus as an artist today includes wood turning, wood power carving, wood and epoxy furniture and photography.
